Boston Harbor Hotel's popular "Summer in the City" series is wrapping up - but since Labor Day comes late this year, events continue through the first week of September and through Labor Day weekend.
Listen to music between 6pm - 10pm as musicians perform on the Blues Barge on Tuesday (Soul), Wednesday (Rat Pack), and Thursday (Blues).
On Friday, enjoy music (starts at 4:30) and a movie projected on a large screen over the Harbor starting at dusk.

Pop Art Exhibit at the Rose Art Museum

LA/MA, a new show at the Rose Art Museum, contrasts 1960s Pop Art masterpieces by East Coast artists such as Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, and Robert Indiana with work by their West Coast counterparts such as Judy Chicago, Lly Foulkes, and Billy Al Bengston.
LA/MA opens on September 13 and runs through December 13.
Rose Art Museum is part of Brandeis University. Getting there: Brandeis is in Waltham, MA (415 South Street), about 10 miles west of Boston. Drive and park on campus, or take the Commuter Rail (Fitchburg/South Acton) line from North Station in Boston to the Brandeis/Roberts Station on the campus border, and walk about 5-10 minutes to reach the museum.
For more mid-century art: Don't miss the Institute of Contemporary Art's exhibit of mid-century art opening on October 10th.
